Question Of The Day: Do you think a SAHM is lazy? Are you a working mom who is happier outside of the home?
SAHM lazy? If only!!! I can say I wish I had time to be lazy! But even then, there's always something or someone that must be put away, cleaned, picked up, tucked in, read to, snuggled...
ReplyDeleteI do have a love hate relationship with being a SAHM... I wouldn't give it up for the world!
Some people may come to my house and see the disaster and wonder, why? You're home all day.. but we really aren't... I'm just don't work outside of my home. However, I do work very hard at making sure my children have manners, appropriate behavior, basic skills and great adventures full of learning and loving everything we are blessed to come in contact with.
Lazy, I wish... and truthfully, when the kids are sick and cuddly in bed... yes, my heart hurts for them and my mommy brain always reels about the worst but the reality is that I get a chance to sit and snuggle on the couch and enjoy a marathon of whatever cartoon they are into. If that's lazy, well, Ok I'll take it!
That being said about ME... There are many moms out there that must work, regardless of the reasons. I hope that they are happy but to say happier ~ I can only imagine the stress these ladies endure. Being torn between a career and a family must be a huge strain on the heart and body.
