Coupon Talk




Here are some of the most common Coupon Lingo terms you will see on here or other blogs

SS = Smart Source newspaper insert
RP = Red Plum newspaper insert
P&G = Procter & Gamble newspaper insert
GM = General Mills newspaper insert
MC = Manufacturer Coupon
SC = Store Coupon
B1G1/BOGO = Buy One, Get One
$1/2 = $1 off 2 items
OOP = Out of Pocket
MM = Money Maker 
MIR = Mail in Rebate
ECB = ExtraCare Bucks (CVS) 
UP = Up + Rewards (Rite Aid) 
RR = Register Reward (Walgreens)
SCR = Single Check Rebates (Rite Aid)
Peelie = Coupon that you "Peel" off a product
Blinkie = Coupon that comes out of a "blinking" box on a shelf near a particular item.
Catalina = Coupon that prints at the register
Coupon Train = A group of Couponers that send coupons to each other (A to B, B to C, ....Z to A)
Raincheck = A slip the store hands you if they are out of a product you are after good for the same price when you come back to the store and it is in stock regardless if sale is over.
